Financial services are a large and fragmented industry with excellent growth opportunities.   The industry accounts for approximately 8% of GDP (excluding real estate) and assets continue to grow.  We believe that financial services, the largest sector in the US equity markets with $4.1 trillion of market capitalization, will continue to be an important contributor to domestic and global economic growth.  

Within the financial services industry, we are focused on firms with a high degree of recurring revenue, positive growth trends, strong returns on capital and quality management teams.  We make majority or minority investments in leading companies looking for a financial partner to help accelerate their growth.  Thoma Bravo’s focus is on the following sectors:
