Thoma Bravo Completes Sale of Tripwire to Belden
SAN FRANCISCO — January 5, 2015 — Thoma Bravo, a leading private equity investment firm, has completed the sale of Tripwire, a global leader in advanced threat, security and compliance solutions, to Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC) for $710 million in cash.
Thoma Bravo acquired Tripwire in May 2011. Since Thoma Bravo’s acquisition, Tripwire has grown revenues 70%, improved profitability by 400%, increased market share, and solidified its global leadership position in cybersecurity.
