At Thoma Bravo, our mission is to deliver superior value to our investors by forming collaborative partnerships with management teams that produce operational excellence and drive innovation. We are a firm that celebrates entrepreneurship, creativity, and inclusion, and this ethos underpins our view of ESG.
Thoma Bravo approaches ESG through a materiality lens, and we recognize that material ESG issues may present regulatory, market, reputational, and operational risks and opportunities for consideration when making an investment decision and during the ownership of a portfolio company investment. As described in our ESG policy, we engage with our portfolio companies to help integrate ESG considerations that can drive value creation.
Additionally, we understand that we have a role in influencing the impact our software and technology portfolio companies have on society. Through our ESG strategy, Thoma Bravo strives to integrate the consideration and thoughtful management of material ESG risks and opportunities during the investment cycle to help build responsible and sustainable business practices. *

In 2022, Thoma Bravo became a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investing (PRI), the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. We are committed to adopting and implementing these six ESG-focused principles, where consistent with our fiduciary responsibilities.
We believe that a focus on diversity and inclusion can enhance our team and the broader investment community. Thoma Bravo is intentional about building and developing a diverse talent pipeline. As part of our long-held values, leaders across the firm help our colleagues in their personal development and professional advancement through a variety of formal and informal mentoring opportunities.
Additionally, Thoma Bravo is proud to support and partner with organizations aimed at recruiting and developing diverse talent into future leaders. We recognize that providing students and young adults with access to opportunity is another critical component to increasing diversity across the industries in which we operate: private equity, software and technology. To help us achieve this goal, we are proud to partner with organizations that share a similar purpose and passion for closing the opportunity gap for underrepresented individuals. In particular, we are honored to partner with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) to launch a first-ever tech internship program to provide diverse college students with access to paid internships at our portfolio companies.
In the summer of 2024, we facilitated the placement of 20 college students across six of our portfolio companies, at one of our partner SEO firms and at Thoma Bravo. In the four years since Thoma Bravo started this program, we have helped more than 100 college students find internships in the software sector through our portfolio companies.

In April 2024, we further broadened our partnership with SEO by hosting the launch of SEO Scholars Miami, an initiative spearheaded by Orlando Bravo. The launch celebrated the expansion of the SEO Scholars program to Miami-Dade County. A fully funded, eight-year academic program aimed at helping low-income high school students succeed in college, SEO Scholars has a strong track record, with 100% of students accepted into colleges and 90% graduating with a degree – significantly higher statistics than national averages. We're excited to see the program take off and to follow its impact on these students' futures.
