Thoma Bravo won the 'Deal of the Year in North America' award for the firm’s $8 billion acquisition of Coupa.
The annual PEI Awards recognize the private equity industry’s achievements over the past year. Nominations are compiled from a combination of industry submissions and input from the PEI editorial team. A shortlist is published and voted on by the public and PEI readers. PEI takes into account a mixture of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including non-financial considerations, and looks for evidence of how active, as well as how innovative, a firm has been.
