Thoma Bravo won two PEI Awards 2024: Large-Cap Firm of the Year in the Americas and Exit of the Year in the Americas for the firm’s Dynatrace transaction.

The annual PEI Awards recognize the private equity industry’s achievements over the past year. This year's awards underwent a new process where PEI separated the private equity and secondaries awards and reduced the number of awards overall. Additionally, the new process eliminated reader voting and instead enlisted a judging panel comprised of PEI Group editors to select the winners. The analysis takes into account a mixture of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including non-financial considerations, and looks for evidence of how active, as well as how innovative, a firm has been.
