Experienced software and healthcare investor to partner with leading healthcare and human services software provider
LENEXA, Kan. — Mediware Information Systems, Inc. (“Mediware” or “Company”), a leader in software for healthcare and human services providers, today announced that TPG Capital, the global private equity fund of leading alternative asset firm TPG, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the company from private equity firm Thoma Bravo. The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2017 and is subject to customary closing conditions. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Primary product categories include non-acute care, human and social services, blood management as well as medication management.
