A.J. Rohde

A.J. Rohde is a Senior Partner at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2010. A.J. is responsible for founding and leading Thoma Bravo’s Discover platform, which invests in middle-market software and technology companies, as well as the firm’s Europe platform. He also sits on the firm’s Investment Committee for all funds. Prior to Thoma Bravo, A.J. worked at Saban Capital Group and Jefferies & Company, as well as Ford Motor Company. Alongside his wife, A.J. created the Rohde Family Foundation, which seeks to create opportunities for children and families in need. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the MarinHealth Foundation, and is a member of the Booth Polsky Private Equity Council at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the Advisory Committee for Moonlight Basin in Montana. A.J. earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BA in Economics from Villanova University, where was captain of the Division I tennis team. He currently sits on the Campaign Committee for Villanova Athletics and the Finance & Governance Committee for the United States Padel Association.
