Additionally, Seth is a co-founder and on the board of the Room to Breathe Project, which is committed to supporting youth and mental health in under-resourced communities by developing the social and emotional well-being of young people and the adults who support them. Seth is also on the board of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. Seth earned his MBA from Stanford University and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University School of Business in Canada.

Scott Crabill is a Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2002 to help develop its investment strategy in the software industry. Carl D. Thoma is a Founder and Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo. Previously, he was a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner and its predecessor funds since 1980. Carl began his career at First Chicago Equity Group, where he helped build a leading private equity firm. He is a recognized pioneer of the buy-and-build strategy that is the foundation of Thoma Bravo's strategy today.
Carl and his wife Marilynn are passionate about philanthropy and art collecting which led them to form the Carl and Marilynn Thoma Foundation to support arts and education initiatives through art grants, scholarships, fellowships, and endowments. In 2024, they launched the Thoma Scholars program which offers full-ride scholarships to under supported students from Northwest Oklahoma, the Texas Panhandle and Eastern New Mexico.
Carl currently serves on the boards of the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts, New Mexico School for the Arts, and SITE Santa Fe. He received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Accounting and Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State University.

David Weiss is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. David is a seasoned executive with over 25 years in the software business. From 2002 until 2011, he served as President and CEO of Numara Software, Inc. (formerly Blue Ocean Software), where he led the company to significant growth through product and market expansion. Prior to Numara, David served as vice president of worldwide marketing for Citrix Systems, Inc. during its rapid expansion from a small, private company to a global leader in remote access software solutions. He also was part of the founding team of a VC-funded software company in the late 1990s, and he spent seven years at Lotus and five years at IBM in various sales, marketing and technical positions. Dave has BS degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Duke University.

Kristin Nimsger Weston is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. She has more than 20 years of experience driving outsized growth in software and technology companies. Kristin was President of Kroll Ontrack, where she ran the legal tech business from start-up to more than $200M in seven years. Kroll Ontrack operated in 23 countries with 1500+ employees when it was sold to Providence Equity Partners in 2010 for over $1.1B. She then was the General Manager of the litigation software division of Thomson Reuters. Kristin then served as CEO of two Vista Equity Partners portfolio companies: MicroEdge, which was sold to publicly traded Blackbaud (Nasdaq: BLKB) for more than 7x MOIC in 2014, and Social Solutions Global which was sold to Apax Partners in 2021 for 5x MOIC. During her time with Social Solutions, Kristin led the negotiation of the partnership and investment from Ballmer Group, which included a $59M investment from former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who joined the company's Board of Directors. Before joining Thoma Bravo, she served as a Senior Advisor, Private Equity to Vista Equity Partners. Kristin has a BA from the University of Minnesota, a Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, and a Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.
